Brilliant model to build, works perfectly. Take your time and follow the instructions carefully, transforms quite easily from robot to truck. The spring motor works very well. I would definitely recommend this model.
Truck & Robot: That’s the Transformer!
Transformers are so popular in pop culture that our engineers just had to get in on the action. First off, it looks incredibly stylish. Secondly, crafting this DIY puzzle was an enormous task — over 4 months just for design and testing. After that, we had to perfect the robot’s anatomy, ensure its limbs could move, and master the transformation into a truck. Assemble it and explore all its features (spoiler: Timbertron has plenty of surprises)!

The Timbertron captivates at every turn — from the intricate assembly process to the ingenious engineering that makes the transformation from robot to truck both smooth and effortless. Small springs in the joints keep the robot steady in various poses, such as lifting a leg or bending a knee. The truck’s wheels feature a freewheel mechanism, allowing the model to roll with ease. And for a touch of authenticity, the kit includes acrylic glass for the windows.
From Robot to Truck and Back!
The Timbertron Ultima is a specialized wooden 3D model from WoodTrick with the unique feature of switching between a robot and a truck. First, you’ll put together the Timbertron Ultima as a robot. Once you’ve built the robot version, you can switch it into a truck using the special levers, and then transform it back into a robot just as easily. easy and fun
I think it's a very nice build, the transformation and movements are cool, but there are some flaws that are annoying for the price. The toothpick arches don't hold well, the transformation is really complex and a little lacking in detail in the tutorial, and the mechanism for rolling doesn't work well, even though I followed the steps correctly. but for the build and the resulte, it's very good, I have tried several brands in terms of quality and extra parts supplied, and this brand remains ahead. I am a bit clumsy and have broken some parts, but I was fortunate that small parts are supplied as extras just in case.

I am an 81+ retiree, and craft 2/3 hours a day. Until today I have made it to page 39. Everything seemed to be going very well, but I foresee a problem, the LEFT part has minimal rotational movement for me. As can be seen in the accompanying photos. What went wrong? Furthermore, praise for the quality and execution.
What a great model !!!! A real Transformer in Wood with a lot of moving parts, a spring motor or manually retroaction. We can really change the robot onto a very stable truck. Great grest!! Absolutely great!!!! My favorite building so far for sure
I have been collecting models for about 7 years, more than 200 assemblies and this is definitely my best assembly! Who would have thought that you could assemble a real transforming robot from wood? As a fan of Optimus Prime, I am delighted, I assembled two of these and do not regret a minute of the time spent on assembly. Snelle levering en ben er erg blij mee . De beschrijving is duidelijk maar je moet goed naar de foto's kijken of alles wel goed zit voor dat je het gedeelte wat is gemaakt afsluit.
Plaques mal découpées, on casse les pièces pour les sortir. De plus il me manque une pièce 116 , il devrait en avoir deux.

Actually. it is my husband Al who is constructing the kit. He loves it! He says it is an excellent kit in every way - design, fit of parts and precision. He constructed a Timbertron kit earlier this year. It took him about four or five months to build and about another two weeks to figure out how to convert it into a truck!
