In the modern world, kinetic art is everywhere
With the advancement of tech, classic paintings are still on top, but they are no longer the one and only kind of art. The desire of modern artists to experiment with form, movement, sound, and optical effects has brought kinetic art into the mainstream. Sculptures that move with the wind, the dance of light and shadows, and installations you can touch and even change – that's the vibe of today's art. Create your own engineering art object and dive into the aesthetics of motion with our Hypnotic Vortex!
Get the Vortex moving and enjoy the special touch it adds to your interior
To make it work, you need to assemble 340 wooden pieces and a special mechanism that moves the Vortex, producing stunning visual effects and optical illusions. So, the kit also includes 17 weight balls, 4 bearings, 2 magnets, and 3 special springs.
The very first task is to assemble the kinetic mechanism, the «heart» of the model. Then, you put the spinners and the central pattern onto the mechanism and get an amazing wall sculpture with a 500 mm diameter. With two captivating spinners moving in different directions, this 3D model is extremely interactive and hypnotic.
Hypnotic Vortex brings an authentic touch of kinetic art into your space!
The Hypnotic Vortex is a specialized wooden 3D model from WoodTrick, featuring a challenging assembly, a tricky mechanical setup, and a stunning design that complements any space. With 340 wooden pieces and 28 unique components, including magnets and springs, this kinetic 3D model is a real brainteaser for those who enjoy challenging DIY projects. Typically, it takes 4 to 6 hours to complete this constructor, so don't expect it to be a walk in the park. Rated at the top-level PRO complexity, the Hypnotic Vortex stands out as one of the trickiest models in the WoodTrick collection.
The most impressive feature of this constructor is kinetics, making the Vortex truly one-of-a-kind, even among the widest range of captivating WoodTrick's. Interactive and engaging, this model provides a lot of enjoyment with its marvelous motion and optical illusions. So, if your interests lie in mechanics, physics, and the inner workings of kinetic objects — well, that’s exactly what you need to create the magic of kinetics. To activate the Hypnotic Vortex, you'll assemble a unique mechanism with special springs, magnets, and bearings. It boasts an operational capacity of up to 40 minutes on a full spring charge.
Who will enjoy the Hypnotic Vortex the most? If you are excited about kinetic art, unusual décor, motion, complex engineering systems, DIY challenges, or at least one thing from the list – this 3D constructor will impress you and bring much excitement. Tout fonctionne parfaitement, un vrai plaisir de l'assembler.

Magnifique
I have completed my model it says it will run for 45 minutes on full wind up but for some reason mine keeps stopping any ideas Thank you.
Arrived on time and looks good but I have not opened the box yet
I can’t comment on the build or how it performs As it still in the box - having only arrived last week! I took advantage of the sale to buy it, intending to build once the winter arrives and I can’t get out in the garden…. But I’m sure I will love it!
Cet objet est fascinant à regarder et passionnant à confectionner.
Still to build it ,watching the videos and reading the instructions again and again .
not yet started, it has been purchased as a Christmas present
I love it ! I enjoyed to assemble with care
