Prima di essere trasformata dal famoso oceanografo Jacques-Yves Cousteau, questa nave era solo un cacciamine.
Cousteau modificò l'imbarcazione nella mitica Calypso aggiungendo l'elicottero Padan, una camera di osservazione subacquea, strumenti scientifici, mini-sottomarini, scooter subacquei e altro ancora.
Nel creare il nostro modello dello yacht di ricerca, ci siamo sforzati di replicare accuratamente i piccoli elementi di Calipso.
Quasi tutte le attrezzature specializzate possono essere spostate, compresi gli elicotteri ad elica rotante, i sottomarini in miniatura che vengono calati con un argano e le ancore che vengono sollevate con una "catena."
Inoltre, il modello contiene uno speciale meccanismo manuale che spinge la barca. Grazie alle ruote, può percorrere 3-4 metri su una superficie piana.

I enjoy doing that it was different but it’s pretty cool looking
The ship was fun to build however the lines indicating where pieces should go were not very clear at times. It could just be my eyes. I made the model stationary. Take care.

The model looks reasonable and assembly is relatively easy however my main criticism is the elastic band powered drive which only moves the model about 1 meter before the band is run down. It also means that because the elastic bands are wound up tight the model jumps initially then almost instantly slows to a stop. Why have you guys not used a battery powered electric motor instead of elastic bands very backward technology.

this is my third or forth model from these people and i am still impressed by the non use of glus, no trimming needed and everything fits perfectly
The engine was difficult to complete. 2 of the cylinder heat pieces cracked just pushing it into the cylinder shaft. Wish you supplied extras. I was able to glue the cylinder head pieces together and it took a fair amount of time to sand them so the would fit.

This is a great build with a lot of pieces. Very detailed. However it would not run when the gears with the engine are too small and would not let it run at all. Expensive for just a shelf ornament.

This was gift for my husband he loves your product. He finds them the sturdiest of all the models out on the market. It looked wonderful.
A great build. Would not recommend it for the novice builder. Many intricate details which need to be followed precisely. It looks fantastic.
